REVIEW #4 – We used this jeweler several times to exchange USD for VNĐ. We received a very good exchange rate based on the XE app. We gave exchanged crisp USD bills. If your US currency is folded or has any imperfection, they will give you a lower rate. As for the process, you get in line. Then when you get to the counter, you hand over your currency. They will give you a paper that shows how much you will receive. Once you acknowledge your agreement, they will count the VNĐ and hand it over to you. You should probably count your money in front of them to make sure. There are multiple lines so the process is fairly quick. – Han Nguyen

I lined up from 6 am, and on some days it was 5:30 am, but the staff and security guards were all very professional and polite. Even though it was crowded every day, they still maintained their politeness, which is amazing (usually, when there’s a lot of customers, the staff become arrogant). The queue and the gold purchase took about 3 hours or less.
Tip: Bringing elderly people to buy gold will get you priority seating and a significantly higher price. Outside, they still stand, but inside, you’ll see they’re given more priority than children.
