The clerk that helped me , I assume was the owner was very helpful and patient as she confirmed each piece . I think she knew I was a bit nervous. REVIEW #20 – My wife and I finally decided it was time to part ways with some of the gold jewelry we’d been hoarding like dragons. If we hadn’t worn it in two years, it went into a little baggie – 10k, 14k, 19k – like we were prepping for a very organized pirate yard sale.
We took everything to Honest Rick at Royal Gold Jewelry & Precious Metals, and honestly, the man lives up to the nickname. Rick has this calm, steady vibe that makes you feel like you’re in good hands right away. What really impressed us was how transparent he is. He checks every piece right in front of you – magnifier glasses, X-ray tester, scale – the whole CSI: Jewelry Edition process. Nothing disappears into a mysterious back room.
If something doesn’t read quite right, he explains it clearly and asks before filing or melting anything. He even brings out a strong magnet to make sure the piece isn’t secretly part refrigerator door.
You can tell he’s been in the precious metals game for a long time. Knowledgeable, honest, and zero pressure.
