REVIEW #29 – I never write reviews. I figure its either someone getting mad because they didn’t get what they wanted or someone is writing they got what they expected. For me and my wife our experience with IRA financial but Kimberly Powell specifically has not been either of those. Kimberly was absolutely amazing!!!! You couldn’t have picked a worse situation for her to be thrown into but came out looking like the rock star she is. We had problem after problem after problem with our funds being sent to IRA from Principal financial. She didn’t only make sure we got things taken care of but she sent me emails at all times of the day, she went out of her way to make sure the second the check arrived at IRA financial to have it taken to processing. She spent time making sure the second it got received the process started to get things approved and ready to have our wire sent out. At no fault of her own she was ill on the day the check was ready to be sent out and you stepped in without being asked and made sure things were being taken care of. Because Capital One didn’t verify the funds we were going to have to wait three days for them to clear. Did that stop IRA Financial from working even harder for us? NO!! You (because Kimberly was out sick) said you know what let me see if we can call Capital One and get them to give us a verbal verification. We were trying to close on an investment property by the end of that day which was a Friday. you on your own went the extra mile, not knowing me from Adam and tried to make things right for us. Remember this had no fault on IRA it was all because of Principal screwing things up on their end. It didn’t work out. Capital One wouldn’t verify the funds so we ended up having to wait until the next week but it didn’t end there. Both you and Kimberly made sure to check in with me on Monday morning. You wanted to make sure I had everything ready for the funds to be transferred as soon as they were verified. We worked throughout the day on Monday just to make sure things were ready. We didn’t think we would be able to fund the house until Wednesday because of the wait period but again Kimberly crushed it. She kept on the ball all day Tuesday. Saw on her own that the funds got approved mid afternoon on Tuesday. Went around to all the departments to make sure things were approved quickly and without even being asked she got the wire approved and sent out on Tuesday!!!! Seriously unbelievable. Not only was it sent out on Tuesday she got it sent out early enough it got received and sent to the county before their 3:30PM cutoff and our house was recorded on Tuesday. Insane. Matthew and Kimberly you were amazing. Our entire experience with IRA Financial has been incredible. If I ever have someone ask me who I am using for my custodian for my self directed IRA there will be no hesitation. On top of that on her own Kimberly reached out on Wednesday to make sure everything went well and things got funded. I had totally forgotten to reach out to her to let her know because it was such a busy time. I don’t know how much I can say over and over how amazing the entire process was.
