REVIEW #6 – I was hesitant due to the mixed reviews but after visiting, I found WestSide Coins to be a great place to buy coins. I was pleasantly surprised to find a large bin of world coins in 2in flips which kept me busy for hours. After chatting with the owner Bill and his daughter who helps run the store, it became clear that they were very knowledgeable and friendly. I believe the mixed reviews are due to people who intended to sell but did not get the price they are seeking. They also have a nice selection of US coins, rounds and even a few slabbed ancient coins. I will be returning next week to do some more exploring. – James Bristol

REVIEW #8 – I will say this and leave it at that. I went to this coin shop and had a great experience with the owner. That’s why I gave him 5 stars. I feel the bad ratings are because people don’t understand what they have and think what they have is worth a lot more than it really is. I had three error coins for him to look at and right off the bat the owner said he didn’t specialize in error coins and couldn’t give me any advice or tell me what they might be worth. I respect that. I feel a lot of people would have gave him a bad review because they think he should know about error coins because he is a coin dealer. Well that isn’t how it works. I spoke to the owner for approximately 30 min and I feel he knew what he was talking about. So to the people who left bad reviews my question to you is this. If you know so much about coins and know what they are worth then why did you go to him to see what they were worth or to sell him your coins?? Again! REVIEW #1 – Justin is an absolute legend. A real guy who respects you. He knew immediately I knew my stuff. Even after his associate said my 14k was only 10k. Justin retested my 4 14k gold pieces upon me questioning it. Turns out they held on the acid test for 14k. Didnt try and low ball me. I shot him a offer on my gold b4 he had his number. He told me it was a lil high for what he normally pays but he excepted it cause he wanted me business in the future. I then said well l I want us both comfortable if ya would rather take 750 off the 3k throw me that 10oz 50cal silver bullet. He dropped it in my hand and counted out 2250. We shook hands and that deal was done. I will go nowhere else ever. Justin is fair, extremely nice and knowledgeable.
