REVIEW #8 – Great experience. I went to get a rough idea of valuation of my late father-in-law’s collection for estate purposes. Bruce gave me no nonsense values and good advice. But I was even more impressed with how Bruce treated a young customer who was in before me. The guy was probably around 10 years old and was obviously just getting started in coin collecting. He picked out a couple of what must have been starter coins, then a $50 silver coin. Bruce offered him a free copy of a collector’s guide, but he said he already had it. When his mom paid, Bruce took $50 for the silver coin, but gave him the starter coins free along with a bag full of what must have been interesting but face value coins. What a great thing to do. Bruce is obviously both a consummate professional and eager to encourage the next generation of coin collectors. I would go out of my way to give him my business. – Roger Butler
REVIEW #9 – Came here recently and had a great time poking around at all the awesome history this place holds (“Rare Coins” in their name is very fitting). They also had beautiful silver, gold and copper bullion! Lost Dutchmen especially had an exceptional amount of high-quality constitutional silver coins, which I’m all for that. Their prices were better than any major bullion website, eBay, etc. that I’ve ever purchased PM’s from, too… The 5 older dated “American silver eagle” coins I got from them would’ve cost me A LOT more online. Just goes to show that we all should support local businesses that offer great stuff, and to never assume that online is lesser priced!!! Love my local coin shop!!! Only complaint would be the hours this store has, but that’s my own personal schedule’s fault – NOT their fault. Spencer’s customer service was excellent as well + had a great time talking shop with him in general. Looking forward to my next big silver stack purchase day coming soon!!!!
