REVIEW #7 – Had the pleasure of stopping in this shop while on vacation from NY. I must also mention that it was the fourth coin shop I’d checked out while in VA. Not only does Bob have the best prices around, (not just between the stores I visited, but also in comparison to online prices), but the customer service was first rate. There were at least three other customers in the store while I was there, yet it seemed like I was alone in their store, as he was able to multi task and pay the requisite attention to all of us equally. He was also able to discern that I’m a watch lover, so he took occasion to show me a gorgeous Breitling Chronomat 44 he had for sale. REVIEW #8 – Went there to sell my father’s coin collection and I found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating . He had a lot of coin sets as well as raw silver coins. I had a base price in my mind for the collection and they met and exceeded what I was thinking. I based my prices off what the selling value would be on secondary markets and then took off the various fees they would charge in addition to my time for listing and selling everything on the websites. Based on that, I was very happy with the offer that I received. I got what I was looking for and the selling process was very easy and smooth. REVIEW #9 – I’ve only been here a couple of times but it’s definitely my favorite coin shop !!! I will always go here and send friends and family there as well. The first time I went I thought they closed at 5 but they actually closed at 4. I got there at 3:50 and everyone was super nice and accommodating. After I picked out everything I wanted I realized I forgot my wallet. The owner let me pay via Zelle and was very polite about it. He gave me a great deal on everything I bought. The second time I came back was yesterday (I made sure to get there around noon) all of the employees let me search thru all of the 90 percent silver coin trays allowing me to pick what I want and even went in the back to bring out more so I had a bigger selection. I got a bunch of proof silver coins, silver state proof quarters, 90 percent silver coins, some 1800’s- early 1900s Indian head Pennys, v nickels, and I got a certified nickel set that’s beautiful, along with some cardboard coin holders. The owner gave me a discount deal since I spent about 250 bucks. This place is really the best coin shop in Hampton roads. They have a huuggggeeee selection of everything you could ever imagine. The owner is an amazing kind and very knowledgeable man. The rest of the staff is also very nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable. They have amazing customer service and their prices are great. If you collect coins or are wanting to start this is the place to go. My favorite coin shop hands down. Thank you to the staff for treating me like a valued customer !!! He sells at a fair price and buys at a higher rate than every other coin shop in Virginia Beach. He is honest and you can tell within moments of speaking to him he genuinely cares about his customers. I sold him several coins over the course of several months. Months after my last sale he contacted me bc he said he accidentally forgot to include the payment of 3 of my coins which totaled less than $200. When he realized his error he made a note to himself and when I didn’t come in again he tracked down my number to let me know so I can pick up the money. Most people wouldn’t make the effort but he did. Some would have just kept the money and not given it a second thought unless
