REVIEW #1 – Easy going. Clean small location. Lots of staff members there, there were about 5 staff members when I went in. Lots of people coming and going. They sell or buy gold and silver, bullion, coins, and jewelry. They were offering $5 below spot on silver coins, when silver was $90 an ounce. If you are selling gold jewelry they have a price based on whether it’s 10k, 14k, 22k, 24k gold jewelry. They gave me how much it would be per ounce and per gram over the phone for that day. Easy to talk to. Went in there and was in and out in 10 minutes. Can easily miss this place, its a little whole in the wall type of place. How very lucky I was to be transferred to Pat when I contacted CGE at a very sobering and low time of my life. I had just read a CGE article about the unscrupulous LA dealers. Twenty-one months earlier I had “invested” with one of them. I was devastated to have made such a foolish mistake but knew I had to urgently do something about it.
I contacted CGE nearing the end of their work day. When I told Pat the hot water I was in, he was genuinely empathetic and immediately gave me hope for a solution, freely giving of his time and attention. I knew he was REAL!!
