I had a (rare) metal. The metal was encased in a tamper-protection plastic case (“secure-card?”).
They used an “electro-magnetic detector” which identified the metal, even though it was encased.
Staff were super friendly. My trader’s name was “James” I believe. Don’t know or have forgotten the name of the blonde lady who let me into the room and did the “scanning” – She was nice and accommodating.
They paid a satisfactory price for the metal – when the market price was 2.8k, they paid >2.55k. The price was locked in on a Friday afternoon – Handed over today being the Monday.
Was offered cash or bank deposit, chose the latter, and the funds were in my account within seconds of the deposit because it was “escrow”.
While there was a small wait for things to process, it was nice to walk around the room, which had lots of minted gold and silver on display.
If I get really rich one day, this place will definitely be considered once again. – Phil Rawson
